About findskills.co

The curated directory of Agent Skills for Claude Code, Claude.ai, and other AI agents — source-verified, free to browse, and built for professionals who use AI daily.

What we do

Agent Skills are instruction files (typically SKILL.md) that give AI agents structured workflows for specific tasks. Instead of prompting Claude from scratch every time you do a code review, a contract analysis, or a performance review, a skill tells the agent exactly how to approach the task — consistently, every time.

findskills.co indexes these skills from real GitHub repositories, makes them searchable by category and profession, and surfaces the raw source files so you can inspect exactly what you're installing before you install it. Every listing links back to the upstream repository. Nothing is paywalled. The directory is free forever.

How skills are verified

Every skill listed on findskills.co is source-verified — meaning it comes from a real, publicly accessible GitHub repository with an actual SKILL.md file at the documented path. We link to the raw file and the source folder for every listing so you can verify the content yourself before installing anything.

Skills are reviewed for basic quality: they need a clear purpose, a real upstream repo with a documented license, and instructions that a working AI agent can actually follow. We don't list vaporware, broken repos, or skill files that are just empty templates.

We currently index skills from Anthropic's official knowledge-work-plugins collection and community repositories. As the ecosystem grows, so does the directory.

Founder, findskills.co · LinkedIn · Articles

I built findskills.co because everything was already on GitHub — the skills, the workflows, all the new Claude Code tricks, Gemini CLI tools, and Codex workflows. But it was scattered, raw, and invisible to anyone who wasn't already deep in the ecosystem. Developers could find it if they knew where to look. Everyone else couldn't.

The goal was simple: take everything from open-source repos and present it in an organized, readable way. So anyone — developers, lawyers, marketers, founders, people who've never touched a terminal — can explore these tools, understand what they do, find the source, and actually use them.

findskills.co is not affiliated with Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google.

How to submit a skill

If you've built a skill that belongs in the directory, submit it through the submission form. Requirements:

  • Public GitHub repository with a valid SKILL.md at a stable path
  • Open source license (MIT, Apache 2.0, or equivalent)
  • Clear, specific purpose — not a generic "do everything" system prompt
  • Works with at least one major agent platform (Claude Code, Claude.ai, Codex CLI, etc.)

We review every submission and add accepted skills within a few days.
